Midnight White, aka (Moonlight White) is a Yunnan-grown evolution of the classic white tea, Bái Mǔ Dān (White Peony King). While white tea traditionally hails from Fujian Provence in the East, Yunnan farmers in the Southwest, have adapted the process to Pu’er tea plants, crafting a tea that is both delicate and complex.
Harvested with a high ratio of buds to leaves, this tea undergoes a natural overnight air-drying process rather than heat processing. This preserves the earthy, floral depth of Pu’er while enhancing its soft, velvety mouthfeel. The name Moonlight White reflects its striking silver-tipped buds and dark leaves, as well as the belief that its overnight drying is touched by moonlight.
The result is a clear, sweet, and gentle infusion with a layered depth of flavor and a surprisingly pronounced Qi—a perfect balance of tranquility and energy in every cup.
Spiral Spring Green is a revered Chinese green tea from the Dongting Mountains near Lake Tai, Jiangsu. Celebrated for its delicate, downy leaves, it steeps into a light, fragrant cup with a refreshing sweetness and layered floral and fruity notes.
Its name reflects its tightly rolled shape and early spring harvest, but tea lovers may also know it by its legendary name—Biluochun (碧螺春), meaning “Green Spring Snail.” This poetic title was bestowed by the Kangxi Emperor after he found its original name, “Scary Fragrance” (嚇煞人香), a bit too dramatic for such an elegant tea.
