I've spent the last decade in Austin's tea world — starting as a volunteer tea server pouring cups, eventually becoming a co-owner of West China Tea. These days, I work with trusted partners and connections across the U.S. tea industry to curate teas I genuinely love — which means I can stay picky and move fast, without waiting months for a shipment to clear customs. I've poured for everyone from local business owners to touring artists, and honestly, my favorite part is still watching someone try a tea that completely surprises them. Ten years later, and I still get a kick out of watching that first sip land.
